DigiTales also exhibits in public spaces: our German partners' Tales were
screened on the Berlin underground; our Slovakian partners' Tales were screened within the Roma
communities in which they were created, in Eastern Slovakia as well as at Creative Clusters,
a major international aboutus conference that took place in Newcastle in the UK in November 2006.
DigiTales have been broadcast: UK DigiTales have been broadcast on BBCi; Finnish Tales have been
broadcast on YLE, the national public broadcaster. Our Dutch partners exhibited Digitales at de
Balie, a major cultural institute in Amsterdam. In April 2007 a DigiTales workshop was held in
Sydney, Australia and was presented at the 2007 Our Media conference. This work, which was supported
by the British Council is continuing in 2008. In March 2007, an international DigiTales event was
held in Berlin and in June an international DigiTales conference took place in Liverpool, which
brought together 'DigiTellers' - young people from across Europe - to share their stories and
debate on issues concerning representation of migrants and ethnic minorities in the partner
countries.
